My Process

To begin with, I will come to your home to look over your project, whether it’s small or large, whether it’s your kitchen, bath or furniture that you want to be brought up to date with a new color palette.

As an interior color design specialist, together we’ll come up with the best color and finishing choices for you and your home.

I’ll leave you with a written estimate and timetable to finish your project.

Cabinet refinishing and refacing

I start by removing all cabinet doors and drawer fronts and numbering them with a corresponding map. Then they are brought back to my workshop where they are thoroughly cleaned, thoroughly sanded, cleaned again and vacuumed.

Once they are ready for the best adhesion, I spray prime and sand them – both sides of course. They will then receive two coats of a professional fine finish in the color of your choice, which is durable, chip resistant, cleanable and long lasting.

All the above will pertain to whether I’m refinishing or refacing your existing cabinets. When refacing a project, I will order new paint-grade wood doors will receive sprayed coats of primer and fine finishing coats.

To complete the project the cabinet framing in your house will be thoroughly cleaned, sanded and finished using the same system as above.
